Microbiological Analysis :-
  • Water testing for potability.
  • Total Bacterial Count (Bioload), Coliform Count and Yeast & Mold Count.
  • Microbial Limit Test – Detection of Pathogens like Salmonella, Shigella, E. coli, Staph. aureus, Pseudomonas, Streptococcus fecalis, Vibrio, etc.
  • Anaerobic Cultures eg. Clostridium.
  • Microbial Environmental Monitoring (Air sampling) of clean rooms, Hand Dabs & Swab Testing.

This laboratory is manned by a staff specialized in microbiology and is headed by an experienced microbiologist having expertise in industrial as well as medical microbiology.The laboratory has all the  infrastructure   necessary (including laminar airflow unit   and clean room) to   carry out usual microbiological   tests. The laboratory has its   own library and culture   collection of essential cultures.

  • Checkup of food handlers for carrier status for Salmonella and Staphylococcus.
